Overview
Home to British Airways, Terminal 5 is a shining star in Heathrow’s portfolio, winning the Skytrax ‘Best Airport Terminal’ award for the fifth time in 2016. It has Heathrow’s highest number of business passengers – 12 million – and the highest domestic business profile at 18%. Covering 265 hectares, the terminal’s main building is the largest single-span building in Britain. Terminal 5 also comprises two smaller satellite buildings, T5B and C.

Destinations
Terminal 5 is Heathrow’s largest international terminal, with 32 million passengers travelling internationally each year. 9% of passengers are travelling between the BRIC nations and 6.3 million travel to the North America from the terminal. As the home of Britain’s national carrier British Airways, Terminal 5 also offers an important domestic service where 14% of passengers fly domestically.
