Overview
Heathrow’s newest terminal, the refurbished Terminal 2 delivers an exceptional passenger experience – a light, modern environment, the latest technology and a focus on sustainability. Having served 12.5 million in year 1 (June 2014 – May 2015), 16.5 million in 2016, and 17.8 million in 2017, Terminal 2 has grown at exponential speed. The terminal offers a range of six lounges that harbour state-of-the-art facilities to serve its passengers of a 34% business profile (22% of that is foreign business – the highest of any terminal) and of 90% ABC1. In March 2018, Terminal 2 won the renowned SkyTrax 'World's best airport terminal' award for the first time.

Destinations
Terminal 2 is the home of Star Alliance airlines. With 24 Star Alliance airlines in the terminal as well as Aer Lingus, Eurowings and Icelandair. It also houses the highest concentration of flag carrier airlines at Heathrow.

With a choice of over 45 shops and restaurants, the retail offering at the terminal rivals that of Terminal 5, including a John Lewis department store, Heston Blumenthal’s restaurant The Perfectionists’ Cafe and airport favourites such as Harrods, Mulberry, Burberry and, of course World Duty Free. The terminal also offers the world’s first complimentary personal shopping lounge within an airport.
